Registered under the societies registration Act 1860, the Governing Body comprises elected President, Secretary and Treasurer and 12 members.

The present office bearers are:
Prof. M.G. Karmarkar , President(Chief Functionary)
   
Former Professor & Head of Department of Laboratory Medicine, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, is a Ph.D.(Biochemistry). Also, he has to his credit 35 years of Research and 30 years of Teaching expeience. Also, he is credited with more than 100 research publications in national and international journals in the field of Iodine Deficiency of Disorders, Nutrition, Endocrinology and Metabolism. He has been a guest speaker at many an international and national fora.
Dr. Chandrakant S. Pandav, Secretary
   
Dr. Pandav is physician, public health specialist, health economist, and epidemiologist. He is senior Faculty Member of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has been consultant to WHO, UNICEF and other international organizations at national and global level working for human welfare. Dr. Pandav is the regional coordinator for South-Asia- Pacific Regional of International Council for Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders since 1985. He has published/presented over 200 papers at National and International Conferences. He has written many books, - six of them published by Oxford University Press, New Delhi-manuals and reports. His publications and Books are used as referrals by Medical and para-medical professionals and students.
Ms Saroja Narayanan, Treasurer

Mrs. Saroja Narayanan is a graduate nurse from the AIIMS. She has served as a public health nurse in the Department of Community for 20 years. She also, doubles up as the Project Officer for ICCIDD. Besides making mark as a Public Health Nurseboth in India(at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi) and abroad, she also handles the administrative aspects of the projects undertaken by ICCIDD.

Project related accounts and compilation of project reports is coordinated by Mrs. Narayanan. she is the focal point for organizing workshops, meetings related to the project work. She also represents ICCIDD in various scientific forums and also visits the project sites for supervision of the work.
